General products for maintaining Wax Finished hardwood floors
Maintenance for waxed wood floors is very different from surface finished floors (urethane).

Here are some General Tips for waxed hardwood floors:

Keep grit off the floor, dust mop or vacuum regularly and keep doormats clean.

Wipe up spills promptly with a dry cloth or dry paper towel, use a slightly dampened cloth for sticky spills and buff with a dry cloth to restore luster.

When the floor looks dull, buff first to see if luster will be restored before waxing. When areas of heavy use no longer respond to buffing, wax only those areas and buff all the floor to an even luster.

When the whole floor needs attention, clean the floor with a solvent based wood floor cleaner and then wax.

Duraseal 1gl Dura Finish Wax & Cleaner

Dura seal Wax & Cleaner is a blend of cleaning agents and wax designed to remove scuff marks, light dirt and grit while adding a soft sheen to waxed hardwood floors. Dura Seal Wax & Clean is recommended in place of Bruce Dark n Rich.

Directions:

Shake container well before use.
Using a cloth or fine steel wool pad, spread Wax & Cleaner over the wood surface at a coverage rate of 500 square feet per gallon.
Gently rub the surface to loosen dirt.
Wipe away loosened dirt and allow to dry 20 to 30 minutes. NOTE: drying time will be increased by high humidity, low temperature or applying to heavily.
Polish with a clean cloth or polishing machine

Precaution:

Do not use on surfaces other than wood.
Do not use polyurethane over Wax & Cleaner
Do not thin or adulterate.

This product contains a maximum of 5.54 pounds of V.O.C.

Dura Finish liquid floor wax is a rich , durable, liquid wax blend that that adds a satin luster to natural and previously sealed or stained wood floors. May be used as a finish coat or as a maintenance product to restore color and shine to worn wax finishes. Available in Netral and Coffee Brown. May also be used over unglazed tile. Directions: Floor should be free of any dirt, grime or grease Apply a thin coat of Dura Finish Liquid floor wax at a coverage rate between 1800 - 2000 square feet per gallon, using a cloth, lambs wool applicator or fine steel wool pad. allow to dry 5 to 10 minutes and buff to a satin luster using a cloth or a floor polishing machine.
